The Szczecin Philharmonic is not only a temple of music but also of art in its broadest sense. Inspiring architecture, geometric details, and harmonious design give every encounter with artists a new dimension. Here, music and design come together in form, becoming the foundation of events such as the MUSIC.DESIGN.FORM Festival. The festival's sixth edition will harmoniously fill the Philharmonic's interiors and allow us to rediscover the beauty of music, art, and architecture.

In 2015, just a year after its opening, the Szczecin Philharmonic building became the first and only in Poland to receive the prestigious European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture, also known as the Ludwig Mies van der Rohe Award. This award, often referred to as the architectural Nobel, is one of the most prestigious architectural distinctions in Europe.

Upon crossing the threshold of the building, we enter a world of design far from the typical image of a concert hall. However, bold architectural solutions have a perfect translation into sound quality. The golden symphony hall can accommodate nearly 1000 people, and the special geometry of the walls and ceilings developed by architects in collaboration with specialists in architectural acoustics ensures an excellent musical experience. Another gem is the chamber hall, where the reverberation time has been reduced to one-hundredth of a second.

However, the Szczecin Philharmonic is more than just concert halls. The building also has many spaces that fulfil their assigned roles on a daily basis. Still, during the MDF festival, they transform their function. The same will be true during the sixth edition of the MUSIC.DESIGN.FORM Festival. This year's guiding theme – ENERGY – will allow us to delve into music, art, design, and topics related to the ecological challenges facing the modern world. We will showcase new possibilities, trends in art, and paths to creating a better tomorrow.
